Bank of Hawaii closes branches on Hawaii Island, Maui due to Tropical Storm Darby

MEDIA RELEASE

HONOLULU, HAWAII (July. 23, 2016) – Bank of Hawaii has announced that it will be taking precautionary safety steps in light of Tropical Storm Darby.

Hawaii Island
All branch operations on Hawaii Island will be closed Saturday, July. 23. Bank of Hawaii has 11 branches (four in West Hawaii; seven in East Hawaii).

Maui County
All branches on Maui, Lanai and Molokai will be closed Saturday, July. 23. Bank of Hawaii has 12 branches in Maui County: 10 branches on Maui, one branch on Lanai and one branch on Molokai.

Call Center operations, based in Kapolei, Oahu, remain open to assist customers. Online and mobile banking and ATM services will continue to operate unless power interruptions are experienced. Bank of Hawaii will also place public updates on branch status via Facebook and www.boh.com.

Branches will reopen when operations are determined to be safe for employees and the public.
