2016 mayoral candidate forum to be streamed live Wednesday (June 22)

The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Community Enterprises of Kona and as part of the West Hawaii Forum Series, is sponsoring Hawaii County’s first mayoral candidate forum for 2016. Hear from candidates about their vision and plans for the County of Hawai‘i.

The event is from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 22 at Kealakehe High School Cafeteria. This event is free and open to the public. Sherry Bracken of Mahalo Multimedia will serve as forum moderator.

This event will also be streamed live by Hawaii 24/7 at https://hawaii247.com/live/

All registered candidates have been invited and are welcomed to display their literature. Confirmed on-stage candidate panelists will include Paul Bryant of Papaaloa, Marlene Hapai of Kurtistown, Pete Hoffman of Waikoloa, Harry Kim of Hilo, Wally Lau of Kailua-Kona, Shannon McCandless of Kamuela, Timothy Waugh of Hilo and Eric Drake Weinert Jr. of Papaikou.
