Police locate a Puna man who was reported missing

Hawaiʻi Island police have located 64-year-old Wayne Uglum of Orchidland, who was reported missing.

He was found unharmed Friday (February 26) in Hilo.

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 64-year-old Puna man who was reported missing.

Wayne Uglum was last seen on foot in Orchidland at 7 a.m. Monday (February 22). He has a medical condition that requires medication.

He is described as Caucasian, 6-feet tall, 160 pounds with blue eyes, brown hair and a beard and mustache. He may be in Kona.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-830. Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
