Kailua-Kona Public Library (Big Island), located at 75-138 Hualalai Road, will offer special hours on Monday, October 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. due to the 2015 Ironman Triathlon.

On Saturday, October 10, the day of the triathlon, the library will be closed because the roads and areas in front of it will be shut down, making the library inaccessible for patrons. The book drops will remain open.

Kailua-Kona Public Library will reopen on Tuesday, October 13 at noon and resume its regular public service schedule.
