Kahekili Krause

Hawaii Police looking for Kahekili Krause, 17-year-old, of Puna, who escaped from a Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility (HYCF) Officer shortly before 4 p.m. on Friday September 25. At the time he was being transported from Pahoa to the Hilo Airport in order to return him to the HYCF.

Krause was last seen on Kanoelehua Avenue near Prince Kuhio Plaza. Krause is described as being 6’0″ tall, 145 pounds, with a thin build, having a tan complexion, medium length brown hair, and brown eyes. He is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 911. Callers may also call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300.
