Hawaiʻi Island police are informing the public that the enforcement period for the National “Click It or Ticket†campaign starts today (May 18) and runs through June 1. During this period, police will increase island wide enforcement of seat belt and child restraint laws.

Average retail gasoline prices in Hawaii have risen 2.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.25/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 355 gas outlets in Hawaii. This compares with the national average that has increased 5.0 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.71/g, says gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.
