Hawaii island families, visitors, Hawaiian music lovers and others looking for a great event in West Hawaii are invited to join the Kamehameha Schools for a three-day tribute in honor of Kamehameha III.

The Lani Kauikeaouli tribute festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 13 at the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay.

Dr. Kamana Beamer will present “Kauikeaouli: A man of vision.”

On Saturday, March 14, the celebration continues on the Hawaii lawn at the Sheraton with a free concert featuring John Cruz, Brittni Paiva, Natalie Ai Kamauu and Meleuhane. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, pick a spot and browse the Hawaiian vendor marketplace.
