So DANGEROUS to ride a bike on the open highway tho’ Kona is the home of the Ironman in fact the house I own today “in town” in Kona the bicyclist was killed riding to Kohala Coast a long journey. TRAGIC Too bad there aren’t any riding trails without cars as I tried to ride my bike on the upper mauka Palani Road a few times then big construction trucks flew by me so I stopped riding my bike out of fear. RIP bike rider Turn yourself in! You know you hit & run just do it! It isn’t a crime if you didn’t see the bike rider so it’s the right thing to do or else face JUSTICE when you meet your maker then are sent downstairs v v to hell repent sinner! If you hit a bike rider or walker even jogger then don’t pull over you must be bot born without a HEART.

It will be interesting to see what truth comes out from this. First responders (fire rescue) report it as a hit-and-run and then sometime later news reports are updated with news that the officer reported the incident. Such a tragedy for our cycling community here in Michigan to lose someone so integral to our riding and racing culture.
