Fire crews are expected to resume searching at first light Friday for a missing fisherman in Pohoiki Bay.

The man apparently was swept off a boat 1 a.m. Wednesday in Pohoiki Bay.

Crews have conducted an aerial search along the shoreline and up to 1 mile offshore from Kehena Beach to Kapoho Bay.

Scuba divers also have been searching in and around the bay.

Search operations will continue Friday at first light.
