Donoho joins Kohala Coast Resort Association

The Kohala Coast Resort Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephanie Donoho as Administrative Director.

In this position, Donoho is responsible for overseeing critical business and community relations projects and budgets for the Kohala Coast and its members.

Stephanie Donoho brings 20 years of government, corporate and community leadership experience to the Kohala Coast Resort Association.

Most recently, Donoho was based in Hilo on Hawaii island as the tourism specialist for the County of Hawaii, Department of Research and Development. For eight years, Donoho served as the liaison between the tourism industry, the non-profit sector and county and state agencies.

Prior to her position with the County of Hawaii, Donoho owned her own consulting company for eight years, two in Hawaii and six in Colorado, providing marketing and business management services for companies such as Hawaiian Vanilla Company, Waimea Outdoor Circle and Mile High Down Syndrome Association.

Donoho began her career in government, corporate and community relations in the US Virgin Islands at Good Hope School in St. Croix. She then went on to positions of increasing responsibilities in Colorado with the Colorado Ballet, University of Denver’s Eleanor Roosevelt Institute and Clear Creek County Tourism Bureau.

Donoho earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and sociology from Tulane University-Newcomb College in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This year marks 30 years of the Kohala Coast Resort Association maintaining a standard of quality development for the Kohala Coast and achieving name recognition as a major resort destination.
