HCC offers Hilo, Pahoa farmer training

Hawaii Community College has announced it will offer the popular “Business Plan Development Training for Farmers” course in Hilo and Pahoa.

This 84-hour course provides a comprehensive program discussing agriculture business plan development and how to succeed as a farmer on Hawaii Island.

The course encompasses 21 hands-on lectures and useful business planning materials — for an administrative fee of $99.

Each student who meets the course requirements will be awarded a Certificate of Professional Development.

The Hilo classes are 4:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays July 22 – Sept. 30 at Hawaii Community College.

The Pahoa classes 4:40-8:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at July 16-Sept. 29 at Kua O Ka La, Public Charter School.
