Hawaii 24/7 live stream Schatz-Hanabusa forum in Kona (July 2)


Friends of NELHA invites the public to the Gateway Center for a screening of the island’s only candidate forum featuring U.S. Senate candidates Brian Schatz and Colleen Hanabusa, to be live-streamed Wednesday, July 2 from Sangha Hall in Hilo.

Doors to the Gateway Center will open at 6 p.m., and, beginning at 6:30 p.m., the internet broadcast will be projected onto the Gateway’s large screen.

Sherry Bracken will moderate the 90-minute long forum, and questions will focus on issues important to Hawaii Island.

The League of Women Voters will be on hand to provide Voter Registration forms and absentee ballot applications.

This forum is the only one scheduled for the Big Island prior to the Aug. 9 primary election and is sponsored by numerous community organizations in East Hawaii.

Hawaii 24/7 will provide the live video-stream, which also will be available for viewing on the website at a later date.
