Hilo Bay Rotary installs new officers

The Rotary Club of Hilo Bay installed Barbara Hastings, partner at Hastings & Pleadwell: A Communication Company, as president during ceremonies marking the Club’s 26th anniversary. Hilo was threatened by lava during an eruption sequence that started at the summit in early May 1880. After a several-month hiatus, the sequence resumed on November 5, 1880.
