Mauna Kea Beach Hotel’s Seaside Tennis Club has been ranked No. 6 among the Top 25 Tennis Resorts in the U.S. and abroad according to Tennis Resorts Online, the web’s leading source of tennis-travel information.

The results were compiled from evaluations submitted by tennis vacationers themselves.

“These elite reviewers have first-hand experience of the resorts they rate so it is an honor to be ranked so high on the Gold List of Tennis Resorts and ranked as the top tennis resort in Hawaii,” said Craig Paulter, Mauna Kea Resort director of tennis.

Mauna Kea Resort’s Seaside Tennis Club was one of only two Hawaii tennis clubs in the top 25.

According to Tennis Resorts Online, reviewers ranked their experiences in each of 20 categories including overall tennis experience, quality of teaching staff and instruction, dedication to game arranging, and the allure of the tennis complex itself and its pro shop.

Reviewers were also invited to share their opinions about amenities and services, including lodging, cuisine, value for dollar, children’s programs, spa and fitness options, and other recreation.

Mauna Kea Resort’s 11-court Seaside Tennis Club is one of the largest and most sought-after tennis experiences in Hawaii.

In addition to great tennis, Pautler and his team serve up lessons and daily clinics, round robin tourneys, and thoughtful amenities.

The team also works closely with high schools and junior tennis programs throughout the island.
