Fundraiser set for May 26 to benefit keiki summer camp

MEDIA RELEASE

Aloha Everyone,

Thank you so much for your support over the past years to assure that our homeless keiki are being cared for throughout the year.

With Easter just around the corner, we still need support to help provide them with all their life necessities….
I just went today and there are so many more homeless children living in Kaka’ako park on O’ahu….it is a mystery where they just pop up all over this island.

Your support is still needed. Here is the online goal chart to show your support: Project Hawaii Donation

If you are on O’ahu and need a wonderful unique gift for someone special this Easter, please visit our fundraiser on Friday, April 18th and Saturday, April 19th from 10A-7P at the Pearl Ridge Shopping Center, uptown by the Macy’s side Food Court escalator area . We will have our cookie mug bouquets, cheesecake brownies, and, of course, our specialty cookie pops.

OUR PAST CHARITY EVENT ON O’AHU:
We were so excited to have our very first “real big” charity event and were able to raise lots of money for our camp on O’ahu!! YEA!! Thank you for all those who helped with this awesome poker tournament. (Yes, this is all legal, we are not gambling; this is merely all part of our charity event.)

Since it was such a great success….HANA HOU…let’s do it again! It will be on June 8th on Oahu! And our FIRST ONE ON BIG ISLAND is scheduled for May 26th.

So, how can you help???
We need companies to help with the prizes, auction items, and monetary donations to help pay for the overall cost of the event, rentals, fees, etc.

VOLUNTEERS are needed on BOTH ISLANDS:

  • Help secure prizes, send out emails, or write letters to everyone you know who might want to make a difference. We need all sorts of prizes– from door prizes, 1-10 prizes, and auction items. (This is a great way to introduce your product or service to the community and help us reach our goals for summer camp.)
  • At the event, we need several different types of support from table monitors, food/beverage servers, poker dealers, registration and tournament director assistants.

SUMMER CAMP!!
We will be sending out more details about camp for both islands, but in the meantime, if you would like to sign up to help in anyway, please feel free to contact me. Our NEW Summer camp website is: www.ProjectHawaiiSummerCamp.org This site has lots of information of what is needed, how to help, or how to donate to make a difference in these precious lives.
