A high surf advisory remains in effect until 6 a.m. Tuesday (March 18) for North and East facing shores of the Big Island.
Surf along North facing shores is forecast to be 10-15 feet in hight. Surf along East facing shore is forecast to be eight to 12 feet.
The elevated surf along North facing shores will remain through the night. Surf along East facing shores will remain elevated through Monday night.
A gale warning is in effect until 6 a.m. Monday for the Alenuihaha Channel along with Big Island Southeast waters.
A small craft advisory remains in effect until 6 a.m. Monday for all remaining coastal waters.
