QLT welcomes Harrison as Kona executive assistant

Rhondalee “Kehau” Harrison has joined the Queen Liliuokalani Trust as executive assistant at its Kailua-Kona office, according to Laura Dierenfield, 360° Manager for the Trust in Kona.

Originally from Holualoa, Harrison’s role at the Trust will be to support its land planning and entitlement team and to assist with the management of the Trust’s developed property portfolio in Kona.

Previously, Harrison worked at Bank of Hawaii Kailua-Kona branch as its wealth administrator in private client services and earlier in Honolulu as an accounting specialist.

Prior to Bank of Hawaii, Harrison enjoyed a 10-year career as a flight attendant with Aloha Airlines until 2008 when their operations ceased. She also worked as a case manager at Parents and Children Together (PACT) in Kailua-Kona and for two years at Aulii Construction in Kaneohe.

Harrision is a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Management Concentration, and Konawaena High School.

The Queen Liliuokalani Trust was established by Hawaii’s last ruling monarch, the beloved Queen Liliuokalani. Her Deed of Trust, executed in 1909, directs that the Queen’s lands be utilized to serve and provide for orphan and destitute children in perpetuity.

The core Trust assets include some 6,400 acres of land, the majority in Kona. Outreach to beneficiaries is delivered through the Queen Liliuokalani Children’s Center, established in 1933.
