Gabbard announces nominees to military service academies

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard has announced her nominations to the U.S. Military Service Academies for classes entering Summer 2014.

After an exhaustive application and interview process, she nominated 29 residents of Hawaii’s Second Congressional District.

“I am honored to nominate these 29 young aspiring servant leaders to attend our nation’s respected military service academies,” Gabbard said. “These women and men are Hawai‘i’s best and brightest who have raised their hands to serve our country in uniform. Each nominee has demonstrated significant leadership qualities, academic commitment, and a personal commitment to service. I wish them each the very best as they embark on this new chapter.”

Gabbard nominated the following people to attend a U.S. Military Service Academy:
