Kona Community Policing staff compile a regular listing of burglaries and thefts in the West Hawaii community.

This update covers Dec. 6 – Jan. 2.

BURGLARIES

On Dec. 6, a reported burglary in the 5500 block of Mamalahoa Highway. Clothing and personal effects removed.

On Dec. 7, a reported burglary in the 5400 block of Mamalahoa Highway. Clothing, shoes, and a purse taken.

On Dec. 11, a reported burglary in the 6100 block of Hawaii Belt Rd. Clothing taken.

On Dec. 11, a reported burglary in the 100 block of Hualalai Rd.
Electronics taken.

On Dec. 30, a reported Burglary in the 7400 block of Hawaii Belt Rd. A cash register was taken.

On Dec. 31, a reported burglary in the 200 block of Alii Dr. Electronics, liquor and currency taken.

On Jan. 2, a reported burglary in the 1200 block of Kauilaniakea Dr.
Electronics and a purse taken.

UCPV (STOLEN VEHICLE)

On Dec. 6, a reported UCPV in the 5700 block of Kuakini Hwy., a
white 2000 Honda Civic 2DSD with HI Lic#HAB031 was taken.

On Dec. 11, a reported UCPV in the 200 block of Nani Kailua Dr., a black Honda Civic 4DSD with HI Lic#HAB123 was taken.

On Dec. 27, a reported UCPV in the 4300 block of HI Belt Rd., a
blue 1994 Nissan Pathfinder with HI Lic#HUU790 was taken. Vehicle has been located.

On Dec. 28, a reported UCPV in the 1000 block of Kuuleialoha Circle. A black 1995 Honda Accord with HI Lic#HCB941 was taken. Vehicle has been located.

On Dec. 30, a reported UCPV in the 1000 block of Capt. Cook Rd., a silver 2010 Ford Ranger Pkup with HI Lic#HMJ980 was taken.

On Dec. 30, a reported UCPV in the 5600 block of Maiau St., a gold 2011 Honda CRV with HI Lic#HMZ193 was taken.

On Jan. 1, a reported UCPV in the 7100 block of Kaleiopapa St., a red 1988 Jeep Wrangler with HI Lic#SAUBUB was taken.

UEMV (THEFT FROM VEHICLE)

On Dec. 7, a reported UEMV in the 6500 block of Alii Dr., a wallet and jewelry were taken.

On Dec. 7, a reported UEMV in the 5700 block of Lamaokeola St., a GPS system, sandals, and sunglasses were taken.

On Dec. 6, a reported UEMV at the Kona Airport., the vehicle was damaged.

On Dec. 30, a reported UEMV in the 7100 block of Kaleiopapa St., a handbag, electronics and us currency taken.

ROBBERY

On Dec. 30, a reported Robbery in the 5500 block of Olowalu St.,
electronics and a wallet with contents taken.

On Jan. 1, a reported Robbery in the 5400 block of Kamakaeha Ave. a backpack, wallet and us currency taken.
