MEDIA RELEASE

Resurfacing South Hilo roads will be underway Monday, Dec. 9, and continue for 10 days, weather permitting.

These roads are scheduled for roadwork:

* A half mile of Ainalako Road from Ainaola Drive

* Iwalani Street between Haihai and West Kawailani

* Kahoa Road

* Wainaku Road from Hau Lane to Haaheo Place

* Iolani Street starting from Kekuanaoa

* Puueo Street

Shifting lane closures are scheduled 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Motorists should plan for delays or use alternate routes if possible.
