Kona burglaries, thefts (Nov. 22-28)

MEDIA RELEASE

Kona Community Policing staff compile a weekly listing of burglaries and thefts in the West Hawaii community. This update covers Nov. 22-28.

BURGLARIES

On Nov. 23, a reported burglary in the 5500 block of Mamalahoa Hwy. Furniture was removed.

On Nov. 25, a reported burglary in the 6800 block of Alii Dr. A laptop, cellphone, and credit card was taken.

On Nov. 25, a reported burglary in the 4600 block of Kaloko Halia Pl. U.S. currency, laptops, computer monitors, and a speaker were taken.

UCPV (STOLEN VEHICLE)

On Nov. 24, a reported UCPV in the 100 block of Laaloa Dr. A yellow/black 2002 Honda CBR motorcycle with HI Lic#502HNH was taken.

On Nov. 26, a reported UCPV in the 100 block of Stardust Lane. A blue/silver Pacific Moped with Lic#59725 was taken.

On Nov. 27, a reported UCPV in the 5500 block of Kuakini Hwy. A silver 2003 Mazda 3 4dsd with HI Lic#ZBB199 was taken.

On Nov. 27, a reported UCPV in the 170 block of Hualalai Rd. A red 2007 Isuzu pkup with HI Lic#HMA910 was taken.

On Nov. 27, a reported UCPV in the Old Airport Area. A red 2010 Honda Fit sedan with HI Lic#HMD579 was taken.

UEMV (THEFT FROM VEHICLE)

On Nov. 23, a reported UEMV in the 100 Kalani St. A backpack, tablet, and a wallet were taken.
