Kona burglaries, thefts (Nov. 8-14)

MEDIA RELEASE

Kona Community Policing staff compile a weekly listing of burglaries and thefts in the West Hawaii community. This update covers Nov. 8-14.

BURGLARIES

On Nov. 6, a reported burglary in the 6400 block of Nalani St. Jewelry was taken.

On Nov. 9, a reported burglary in the 5700 block of Kuakini Hwy. U.S. currency and credit cards taken.

On Nov. 8, a reported burglary in the 300 block of Kealakehe Pkwy. An empty cash drawer taken.

On Nov. 10, a reported burglary in the 5000 block of Onipaa St. Musical instruments taken.

On Nov. 12, a reported burglary in the 7100 block of Hooper Rd. U.S. currency and jewelry taken.

On Nov. 13, a reported burglary in the 400 block of Kealakehe Pkwy. Liquor taken.

On Nov. 10, a reported burglary in the 6600 block of Alii Dr. US currency and a safe taken.

UCPV (STOLEN VEHICLE)

On Nov. 8, a reported UCPV in the 5900 block of Pumehana Dr. A Gold 2006 Chevy HHR with Hi Lic# HJK502 was taken.

On Nov. 9, a reported UCPV in the 6100 block of Alii Dr. A black 2003 Honda Ruckus Moped with Bicycle Lic# H04881 was taken.

On Nov. 14, a reported UCPV on Mamalahoa Hwy(Keauhou Mauka). A black 1989 Toyota Pickup Truck with Hawaii Lic# HJK188 was taken.

UEMV (THEFT FROM VEHICLE)

On Nov. 12, a reported UEMV in the 200 block of Aloha Kona Dr. U.S. currency and a backpack taken.
