Kona Community Policing staff compile a weekly listing of burglaries and thefts in the West Hawaii community. This update covers Oct. 25-31.

BURGLARIES

On Oct. 28, a reported burglary in the 6800 block of Mamalahoa Highway. Jewelry was taken.

UCPV (STOLEN VEHICLE)

On Oct. 26, a reported UCPV in the 7000 block of Kamehameha III Road. A silver Toyota Tacoma pickup with Hi Lic# HCY559 was taken.

On Oct. 28, a reported UCPV in the 5800 block of Alii Drive. A white 2001 Mercedes CLK 430 with Arizona Lic# LUVHYM was taken.

On Oct. 30, a reported UCPV on Mamalahoa Highway in the Holualoa area. A blue/primer Toyota pickup with Hi Lic# HKK512 was taken.

UEMV (THEFT FROM VEHICLE)

On Oct. 25, a reported UEMV on Kohanaiki Way. A purse with jewelry, and currency was taken.

On Oct. 25, a reported UEMV on Kohanaiki Way. A wallet and a wrist watch was taken.

On Oct. 25, a reported UEMV on Kohanaiki Way. Currency was taken.

On Oct. 26, a reported UEMV on Lawehana Street. Victim struck while in her vehicle.

On Oct. 26, a reported UEMV in the 5500 block of Middle Keei Road. Tools and a first aid kit taken.

On Oct. 28, a reported UEMV near the intersection of Kuakini Highway/Haawina Road. Floor mats were taken.

On Oct. 30, a reported UEMV in the 5500 block of Maiau Street. Gas and tools were taken.

On Oct. 30, a reported UEMV in the 500 block of Honokohau Street. Tools were taken.
