Habitat for Humanity inaugural golf tournament (Oct. 7)

Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii’s Inaugural Golf Tournament is set for Monday, Oct. 7 at the exclusive Kohanaiki Golf and Ocean Club in Kailua-Kona.

Format is Four Person Team Best Ball. Entry fee is $300/per player and this includes one mulligan, continental breakfast, lunch and Awards Ceremony. Space is limited to 72 golfers.

“We are delighted to have our first annual golf tournament at Kohanaiki,” Executive Director Patrick Hurney said. “The management and staff of Kohanaiki have worked diligently with us to ensure that this will be an amazing event. This is a signature year for Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii. We will be building 10 new homes, and serving an additional 25 families through weatherization and critical home repair projects.”

Businesses can also participate and contribute to Habitat’s mission by becoming a hole sponsor.
