Big Island Lane closures for the week of June 17-21, 2013

— AKONI PULE HIGHWAY —

1) VICINITY OF HAWI TOWN

Alternating single lane closures on Akoni Pule Highway (Route 270) in both directions in the vicinity of Hawi to Kapaau Town, between Milepost Markers 21 and 24, on Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for roadway reconstruction.

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

1) VICINITY OF CAPTAIN COOK

Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) in both directions between Kiloa Road and Rabbit Hill Road on Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail installation.

2) VICINITY OF KAINALIU

Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) in both directions near Milepost Marker 114 in the vicinity of Kainaliu on Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, for guardrail installation.

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 190) —

1) VICINITY OF NEW SADDLE ROAD INTERSECTION

Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) in both directions near Kukui Camp Road and North Peck Road, south of the Waikoloa Road intersection, on Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for roadway widening work.

2) MAKALEI

Alternating single lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) in both directions between Uluoa Street and Old Kona Village Road on Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for pavement striping and guardrail installations.

— HAWAII BELT ROAD—

1) VICINITY OF KALOPA

Alternating lane closures on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in both directions between Kahawai Road and Hauola Road on Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for shoulder paving work.

2) VICINITY OF WAIMEA

Intermittent road closure for 5-10 minutes on Kawaihae Road (Highway 19) between Milepost Markers 58 and 59 near the Sandalwood Subdivisin on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for investigation and removal of military ordnance and explosives.
