Police remind public to not park in prohibited zones

MEDIA RELEASE

The Hawaiʻi Police Department is reminding the public that some areas along Kalanianaʻole Avenue in Keaukaha are designated “No Parking” zones and “Bike Lanes.” No Parking zones are designed to allow emergency vehicles access to assist the public.

With the summer season approaching, the number of beach goers is expected to increase, leading to a potential parking shortage. Police ask the public to take extra care not to park where signs prohibit parking.

With your assistance, we can all make this summer safe and enjoyable.

The public may direct questions and inquiries to the Community Policing office at 961-8121.
