Council Member Zendo Kern invites the public as he hosts Mayor Billy Kenoi and members of his cabinet for a talk story at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 28 in the Keaau Elementary School cafeteria.

This event is another opportunity for residents to hear details of the proposed 2013-2014 County Budget. The mayor will present information on the budget submitted to the County Council and will take questions from those in attendance. Members of the Kenoi Administration and Kern will be available for questions following the presentation.

The Council will convene a special meeting Thursday, May 30, when it is scheduled to hear a second reading of the county’s Operating/Capital Improvements Projects Budget.
