More than 300 Kealakehe High School students accepted their diplomas Saturday evening during commencement exercises at Waverider Stadium.
Family and friends packed the stadium as former teacher Nick Courtney delivered the keynote address.
Although the area had been soaked by rain all afternoon, the precipitation abated just in time for the ceremony, which closed with the Kealakehe High School graduates singing their class song “Hall of Fame.â€
