County council members J Yoshimoto and Zendo Kern are hosting a community meeting on the proposed 2013-2014 budget.

The meeting, with Mayor Billy Kenoi and cabinet members, is 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22 at the Hawaii County Building in Hilo.

The informational ‘talk story’ agenda includes an overview of the budget and other issues that impact East Hawaii.
