West Hawaii Explorations Academy graduated 18 students Friday evening at commencement ceremonies at NELHA.

The guest speaker was Mayor Billy Kenoi. Students also were congratulated by Principal Curtis Muraoka, their teachers and dozens of family and friends.

The Class of 2013 included: Cierra Abellera, Emma Ansel, Braxton Bailey, Gabrielle Desimone, Ethan Gonzalez, Kawanaao Kapule, Kyle Kirk, Kaia Kukua-Akina, Joshua Moore, Ashley Mulvihill, Reina-Marie Nacino-Petert, Justin Sargeant, Kai Simon, Keoni Smith, Spencer Stone, Emily Sundberg, Taylor Morgan and Taylor Wainani Traub.
