Big Island Lane closures for the week of May 6-10, 2013

All projects are weather permitting.

— VOLCANO ROAD/MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

1) VICINITY OF KEAAU

Lane shifts on Volcano Road (Route 11) in the Hilo-bound direction in the vicinity of the Keaau Bypass Road intersection between Milepost Markers 6.5 and 3.3, on Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., daily, for pavement striping.

2) VICINITY OF KULANI ROAD

Alternating single lane closures on Volcano Road (Route 11) in both directions in the vicinity of Kulani Road, near Milepost Marker 13.6, on Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for roadway construction, guardrail and traffic signal work.

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

1) VICINITY OF CAPTAIN COOK

Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) in both directions in the vicinity of Captain Cook, near Milepost Markers 108 to 109, on Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for slope stabilization work.

2) VICINITY OF KAAPUNA TO KAOHE

Alternating lane closures on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) in both directions in the vicinity of Ka’apuna to Kaohe, between Milepost Markers 92 and 97, on Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., daily, for pavement striping.
