Kona burglary, theft reports (April 12-19)

MEDIA RELEASE

Kona Community Policing staff compile a weekly listing of burglaries and thefts in the West Hawaii community. This update covers April 12-19.

BURGLARIES

On April 14, a reported Burglary in the 1200 block of Nawahie Loop. A purse with contents and jewelry was taken.

On April 15, a reported Burglary in the 5700 block of Kuakini Highway. A wallet, phone, and car keys were taken.

On April 15, a reported Burglary in the 5000 block of Kealakaa Street. Tools removed.

UCPV (STOLEN VEHICLE)

On April 13, a reported UCPV in the 5600 block of Alapa Street, a gray 2005 Nissan Quest Pvan with Lic# RTY079 was taken.

On April 16, a reported UCPV in the 5800 block of Walua Road., a brown 2008 Honda Ruckus moped with Lic# 516HNU was taken.

On April 17, a reported UCPV in the 6400 of Kepano Place, a white 2006 Honda Motorcycle with Lic# 919-HNS was taken.

UEMV (THEFT FROM VEHICLE)

On April 17, a reported UEMV in the 1000 block of Nani Kupuna Place. Vehicle damaged, unknown if items were taken.

On April 17, a reported UEMV in the 6000 block of Hawaii Belt Road. Vehicle was entered and nothing removed.

On April 18, a reported UEMV on Kaupulehu Road. Vehicle entered, a backpack, us currency and a cellphone taken.
