Police are searching for a missing person last seen on Sunday, April 14, 2013, in the morning hours in Wainaku. Paulo Vakautafefine, a 69-year-old man, is described as being 5’11” tall, 205 pounds, with gray hair, wearing a black hooded jacket and blue jeans. He is in need of medical attention.

Hawaiʻi Island police have located 68-year-old Paulo Vakautafefine of Hilo, who was reported missing.

He was found a short distance from his Wainaku home at 3:55 p.m. Friday.

After paramedics examined him, he was returned to his family.
