The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a wind advisory for the summits of Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea above 8,000 feet until noon today (April 13).

Winds are forecast to be from the West at 20-35 mph with localized gusts over 45 mph.

These winds can make driving difficult especially for high profile vehicles. Motorists should use caution while driving.
