The Hawaii Fishing & Boating Association hosts it popular Honokohau Harbor Flea Market 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 13 at Hawaii Big Game Fishing Club at Honokohau Harbor.

There will be quality merchandise, jewelry, boat hardware and accessories, fishing equipment and gear, local arts and crafts, as well as food and beverage.

A new vendor this spring is Kona Honu Divers, which will be selling dive gear (purchases with a certification card only). If you don’t have a card and want one, Kona Honu will be offering a kamaaina rate for certification classes.

Memberships for Hawaii Fishing & Boating Association will be available and HF&BA T-shirts.

The market support the Hawaii Fishing & Boating Association in their efforts to improve Honokohau Harbor and other small boat harbors across the state.

In the past year with legislative and administrative funding and HF&BA guidance the fresh water distribution system was improved; the restrooms are slated for updates; lighting was put back in working order; security has been improved, and a lot of additional improvements are underway, including a new trailer boat wash down area.
