Fire burns Pepeekeo home Saturday morning (March 30)

Fire/rescue crews responded to an 8:09 a.m. alarm Saturday (March 30) to 28-0530 Kulaimano Road in Pepeekeo for a structure fire.

Two back bedrooms of the single-story home were heavily damaged by fire which crews had under control by 8:30 a.m. and declared out at 8:45 a.m.

All the occupants of the home were able to exit the home safely with no injuries reported at the scene.

The cause of the blaze was determined to be a candle with the damage estimated to be $84,000.
