Kona burglary, theft reports (Feb. 28-March 6)

Kona Community Policing staff compile a weekly listing of burglaries and thefts in the West Hawaii community. This update covers Feb. 28-March 6.

BURGLARIES

On March 6, a reported Burglary in the 5600 block of Alii Dr., U.S.
currency taken.

UCPV (STOLEN VEHICLE)

On Feb. 28, a reported UCPV on Plumeria Rd., a green 1998 Chevy Blazer with Lic# HHX600 was taken.

On March 2, a reported UCPV in the 5000 block of Huaala St., a
black 1991 Honda Accord with Lic# HRY314 was taken.

UEMV (THEFT FROM VEHICLE)

On March 2, a reported UEMV on Alii Dr. near Magic Sands Beach, a camera was taken.

On March 2, a reported UEMV in the 1000 block of Henry St., a backpack with a cellphone and four pairs of glasses were taken.

On March 2, a reported UEMV in the 200 block of Kunihi St., stereo equipment taken.
