Hawaiian promotes Kishimoto to senior director – investor relations

MEDIA RELEASE

Hawaiian Airlines has announced the promotion of Ashlee Kishimoto to the position of Sr. Director, Investor Relations, effective March 1.

Ashlee Kishimoto

Kishimoto has been with Hawaiian Airlines since 2009, serving most recently as Director of SEC Reporting and SOX Compliance. She joins Susan Donofrio on the company’s Investor Relations team, and will continue to work out of the Honolulu office.

Both Kishimoto and Donofrio will report to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Scott Topping.

“Already an important contributor to our Investor Relations activities, Ashlee’s knowledge of SEC reporting and her presence at our headquarters in Honolulu will add depth to our IR efforts,” Topping said.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Kishimoto graduated from Punahou School and earned a B.A. (cum laude) in Accounting from the University of San Francisco. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Kishimoto worked in auditing positions at KMH LLP and KPMG LLP prior to joining Hawaiian Airlines.

Hawaiian has led all U.S. carriers in on-time performance for each of the past nine years (2004-2012) as reported by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Consumer surveys by Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure and Zagat have all ranked Hawaiian the highest of all domestic airlines serving Hawaii.

Now in its 84th year of continuous service, Hawaiian is Hawaii’s biggest and longest-serving airline, as well as the largest provider of passenger air service from its primary visitor markets on the U.S. mainland. Hawaiian offers nonstop service to Hawaii from more U.S. gateway cities (11) than any other airline, along with service from Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Australia, American Samoa, and Tahiti.

New nonstop service begins this year between Honolulu and Auckland, New Zealand on March 13; Sendai, Japan on June 25; and Taipei, Taiwan on July 9. Hawaiian also provides approximately 160 daily jet flights between the Hawaiian Islands.
