Crews rescue opihi picker at Kings Landing

Fire and rescue crews responded to cries for help early Friday from an opihi picker who was swept into the ocean at Kings Landing in Hilo.

The victim was pulled to the shore by bystanders shortly after 8 a.m.

Emergency crews administered CPR and transported the victim to Hilo Medical Center.

No other information was released.
