The contractor is applying a final layer of asphalt on to KÄ«lauea Avenue between Pauahi Street and Aupuni Street today and tomorrow. The work schedule between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and may vary. During roadwork the traffic pattern is:

• One-lane for Puna bound travel between Pauahi Street and Aupuni Street.
• Motorists traveling in the Hāmākua direction on KÄ«lauea Avenue rerouted at Aupuni Street.
• Left turns allowed onto Pauahi from Aupuni Street.
• Left turns permitted onto KÄ«lauea Avenue from Aupuni Street.
• No right turns onto KÄ«lauea Avenue from Aupuni allowed.
• Street parking will be restored after roadwork is completed.
