Sixth annual Coffee Farmers Expo (Jan. 25)

The sixth annual Kona Coffee Farmers Association EXPO is 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25 at the Old Airport Makaeo Pavilion.

Free and open to all, this is KCFA’s community service, connecting farmers with vendors and service providers who serve the farmers’ needs.

The EXPO will feature displays, products and service information. One-on-one technical talk-story will be available from agricultural experts.

Tom Greenwell of Greenwell Farms will speak at 1:30 p.m. on “The State of the Infestation” with an emphasis on what his coffee berry borer data reveals.

A question and answer session at the end of the talk will provide farmers an opportunity for clarifications and feedback.

More than 40 vendors and service providers are participating in the EXPO. A complete list is available at
