Military convoys between Hilo and PTA
PÅŒHAKULOA TRAINING AREA, Hawaii— Hilo-based military units will convoy from Keaukaha Military Reservation (KMR) to PÅhakuloa Training Area (PTA) on Friday, Jan. 4 between 9 a.m. and noon.
The unit will redeploy from PÅhakuloa Training Area to Keaukaha Military Reservation on Sunday Jan. 6 between 9 a.m. and noon.
The convoys will travel via Hilo Airport Road, Kanoelehua Avenue Highway 11, West Puainako Street, Komohana Avenue, Puainako Extension Route 2000 and Saddle Road Highway 200.
The trucks will not have Hawaii Police Department escorts but will have escort vehicles front and rear. Motorists are advised to be alert and drive with care.
The PTA Department of Army police are working closely with local authorities and military units to coordinate this activity in support of unit training.

POHAKULOA TRAINING AREA, Hawaii—Oahu-based military units will convoy from Kawaihae Harbor to PÅhakuloa Training Area on Jan. 7, 9 and 11 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. via Kawaihae Road, Queen Kaahumanu Highway, Waikoloa Road, Mamalahoa Highway and Saddle Road.
The convoys will have Hawaii Police Department escorts front and rear. Motorists are advised to be alert and drive safely.
The PTA Department of Army Police is working closely with local authorities and military units to coordinate this activity.
