Fairmont Hawaii resorts strike Conde Nast gold

MEDIA RELEASE

According to Conde Nast Traveler’s Gold List, an annual reader’s choice poll, The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui and The Fairmont Orchid Hawaii epitomize the gold standard, making the cut for 2013.

Rated on criteria including location, activities, service and guestrooms, the list is based on magazine-subscriber votes.

The Fairmont Orchid, a luxury AAA Four Diamond resort located on the Kohala Coast, was recognized for its pristine location, outstanding service, unique Hui Holokai Beach Ambassador program and its Hawaii Island cuisine at the AAA Four Diamond award winning Brown’s Beach House.

The Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea, Maui earned high praise for its all-suite accommodations, award-winning Hawaiian Cultural Program and exclusive 2- and 3-bedroom ocean front villas. The award follows three years of renovations to the property, totaling more than $28 million.

“We are thrilled to have The Fairmont Kea Lani and The Fairmont Orchid honored in the recognized Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List,” said Christof Luedi, Regional Vice President Hawaii and General Manager of The Fairmont Orchid, Hawaii. We take a great deal of pride in our luxurious tropical locations, providing an exceptional and unique experience with every visit.”
