MEDIA RELEASE

The county Department of Parks and Recreation and the Hawaii Isle Police Activities League (HI-PAL) have announced the winners of the inaugural Keiki Triathlon held October 20 at the Kona Community Aquatic Center and Makaeo Park.

More than 50 youth athletes from around the island finished the challenging swim, bike and run courses.

The Department of Parks and Recreation and HI-PAL congratulate all the participants and extend a special mahalo to everyone who helped to make the event successful.
