Peoples Advocacy for Trails Hawaii presents the 27th Annual PATH Run at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 7.
Start and finish at Hale Halawai.
The PATH Run offers a 5 km walk/run, a 10 km run and a free keiki dash. This event, which is Kona’s traditional kickoff to Ironmsn week, is a family friendly FUNdraiser benefiting the PATH Bike Ed Safety Program for Hawaii Island 4th graders.
New this year to the PATH Run is our Get Movin’ Corporate/Group challenge.
Companies, clubs and other groups are encouraged to form supportive “teams” to participate in the event as a wellness initiative to support healthy active lifestyles.
Entry forms and in-person registration are available at Big Island Running Company and Bike Works until Friday, Oct. 5 and at the Ironman info tent on the Pier each morning 7-10 am until Saturday, Oct. 6.
Entry fees are $30 for adults and $20 for children if you register on or before Oct. 6.
Race day registration is available 6:15-7 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7.
