The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a high surf advisory for South facing shores of all islands until 6 p.m. Friday (Sept 28).

Surf is forecast to be in the 6 to 8 foot range which will lead to rough surf. Beach and oceangoers should use caution in and near the ocean due to rip currents, large breaking waves and localized beach erosion.
