The Hawaiʻi Police Department would like to thank the community for showing support this past Friday, September 18, at a Community Outreach Project at Richardson Beach Park. Agencies provided information on alternative programs for youth and laws regarding drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking tobacco.
“Thank you to Coalition for a Tobacco- Free HawaiÊ»i, Salvation Army, MADD, County of HawaiÊ»i Parks and Recreation, County of HawaiÊ»i Aquatics Divisions and the HawaiÊ»i Police Department’s Traffic Services Section,†said Officer Nicole Leyson. “This project was successful and we plan to have more projects in the future. A continued partnership will assist in keeping our beaches and roads safe for everyone.â€
