Hashimoto named HCFCU branch manager

Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union has promoted Todd Hashimoto to Kealakekua Branch Manager.

Hashimoto has been with the financial institution for more than five years, most recently as a loan officer at the Kaloko Branch of Hawaii Community FCU.

A graduate of Konawaena High School, Hashimoto holds an associate’s degree in Sales and Marketing from Hawaii Community College-Hilo. His financial experience includes a stint with Central Pacific Bank as a loan officer and as a buyer for Citifinancial Auto on Oahu.

One of his duties as the Kealakekua Branch Manager will be to support the Student Credit Union at Konawaena High School, where he was once a member.

“I am looking forward to working with the students and getting to know our members who use the Kealakekua branch,” said Hashimoto, who added he plans to offer financial education opportunities that will help members meet their financial goals.

Hashimoto is active in the community and volunteers with the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit credit union currently observing its 75th anniversary. It is wholly owned by its more than 40,000 member/owners and the financial institution has branches in Honokaa, Kailua-Kona, Kaloko, Kealakekua and Kohala.
