    Aloha,

I was wondering if anyone knows about the HUGE ship with the words “NAMSA Heavy Lifts” on the sides of it. It is currently (7/12/12 & 7/13/12) in the harbor area at Kawaihae. I looked on the internet and couldn’t find much info on it other than NAMSA is an acronym for Nato Maintenance and Supply Agency. Does anyone know if the ship’s presence is part of the RIMPAC exercises mentioned in the above article? This ship is really something! Just curious as to what might be going on.

    Mahalo!
