Lingle releases first TV spot

MEDIA RELEASE

Linda Lingle hsa released the first television ad in her campaign for Hawaii’s open U.S. Senate seat.

The ad highlights Lingle’s ability to listen to the people of Hawaii and garner positive results on behalf of the state.

“The partisan, gridlocked U.S. Congress is plagued by an inability to listen to the public’s concerns and to take bipartisan action that moves our country forward. The problems our country is facing are not Republican problems or Democrat problems, they are American problems; and they will require bipartisan solutions,” Lingle said.

“Throughout my career in public service, I have always placed a premium on listening to the people. This campaign is no different. I am committed to making sure this campaign remains centered on the people of Hawaii and, if I have the honor of serving Hawaii in the U.S. Senate, I will continue to put people first,” she said.

The video is also available for viewing on LL12, digital channel 110, on Oceanic Time Warner Cable. This landmark digital cable channel is dedicated solely to providing information about Lingle’s U.S. Senate campaign and informing voters about the important issues facing Hawaii.

The cable channel went live at 1 p.m. Monday.
